The full form of MCH is Master of Chirurgiae. This course is the most advanced level post-graduation course in medical studies which is of 3 to 5 years duration. Students who want to become a surgeon doctor like Thoracic Surgeon, Pediatric Surgeon, Clinical Hematology Surgeon, General Surgeon, Medical Genetics Surgeon etc. then this course is the best option for them. The examination of this course is semester wise.
If you do MCH course after doing MBBS then it will take you 5 years whereas if you do MCH course after doing MS and MD then it will take you 3 years.
If you want to do M.Ch course, you must have MS, General Surgery, Doctor of Medicine (MD), MBBS or Master in Medical Science recognized by Medical Science University, Diplomate of National Board or Medical Council of India (MCI). Must have degree.
Apart from this, to do this course, first of all you have to qualify an entrance test NEET PG and apart from this, according to the institute in which you are taking admission, you have to pass the entrance test with a good number.
Taking admission in Master of Chirurgiae course is not an easy task. To do MCH course, you have to clear the entrance exam. Admission to M.Ch is done on the basis of cut off marks of entrance exam. Today admission for M.Ch is being done in many colleges of India. Like - Delhi's AIIMS College, Christian Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College etc.
