What is B.Com B.Ed Course?
B.com B.Ed Course is an integrated course of four years consisting of theoretical classes as well as internships. B.Com B.Ed. The integrated course is made by combining two courses B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) and B.Ed (Bachelor in Education).
B.Com is a graduation degree course in which admission can be taken after passing 10+2. While B.Ed. OR Bachelor of Education is a postgraduate degree and the candidates who want to take admitted to it must have a bachelor's degree in any stream. This is the best option for the students to become a teacher after 12th. Students who want to become teachers in the.
commerce stream, till now had to do the first 3 years of graduation course and then 2 years B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) but in this new B.com B.Ed. After joining the Integrated Course in the field of education, now within four years the dream of the students to become a teacher will be fulfilled. While it takes 5 years to separate both the courses.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Com B. Ed Course
An applicant must have a 10+2 education from a recognized school or board in any discipline (Commerce is preferred).
The applicant must have received a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved applicants) in all subjects in the 12th examination
B.Com B.Ed Course Admission process
The admission process is different in each college. Some colleges have a provision for direct admission on the basis of merit, while some colleges conduct entrance tests to select candidates. For the entrance test, every student has to fulfil the eligibility criteria.
The entrance test consists of a Personal Interview (PI) and a written test. The student is called for admission on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test and 12th Class.
