The full form of D.El.Ed is Diploma in Elementary Education hoti hai. This is a two year Diploma course in Teaching, which is divided into 4 semesters. D.El.Ed. course is a good career option for those candidates who want to become a teacher or want to make a professional career in teaching. This is very popular teacher sector diploma course. All the students give priority to D.El.Ed course, because the career looks very bright in it.
To do D.El.Ed course, it is mandatory for you to have 50% marks in 12th.
But in some institutes like Bhramarishi Yuva Training College, Candidate must have passed graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks. In which reserved category candidates also get a relaxation of 5%. After this, the candidate can do D.El.Ed from a government or private recognized institution.
There are two ways to take admission in D.El.Ed course, one is through entrance exam and the other is on the basis of 12th marks. Most of the government colleges in our country, where DLED course is conducted, you are admitted through entrance examination only, while there are many private colleges where you are admitted on the basis of your 12th standard.
You will have to go through an Entrance Exam. After that, like every exam, you are selected on the basis of merit list and cut off marks. If you get good marks in the entrance exam. So you will not have to pay much fees, you will easily get admission in Government College.
