What is a BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) Course?
Bachelor of Veterinary Science is an undergraduate degree course that deals with a branch of science dealing with all types of animals. Veterinary Science in specific terms deals with the application of medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic principles to various types of animals. The duration of a B.V.Sc is generally five academic years including a compulsory internship of six months duration covering more or less than a semester of the duration of the course
may vary from four and half years to five years depending on the duration of the internship. The course is also referred to as B.V. Sc and an HB an abbreviated form for Bachelor in Veterinary Science and animal husbandry.
What are The Eligibility To Do BVSc Course
A student aspiring to get admission into a Veterinary Science Course must have done 10+2 with six chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects with not less than 50% Marks or 50% of the total marks in physics, chemistry, and Biology taken together at the competitive entrance examination.
