The three year training for DNB takes place under a guide, which can be in a public sector or private sector institute which has been recognized by NBE to conduct the training.
NBE conducts entrance and exit exams after which DNB is awarded. All DNB qualifications are recognized by the Medical Council of India across the country.

DNB stands for National Board of Diplomat. It is a degree awarded by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) which is an autonomous educational body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is awarded to candidates who successfully complete their postgraduate or post graduate medical education under the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
