GNM is a diploma course that stands for general nursing and midwifery. Admission to a diploma in GNM course is provided on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam. However, some institutes and states provide admission to diploma in gnm courses on the basis of rank obtained in Entrance exams conducted by them, the Assam GNM Entrance Exam and the Rajasthan GNM Entrance Exam are two such exams that are conducted to provide admission in the course in the respective states.
