Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Institute of Nursing - MHRDIN is established in 2002. The Institute has been named after Mahatma Hans Raj Ji, the forefather of DAV Movement, a great visionary, an embodiment of dedication, devotion & self abnegation, who worked honorarily as founder Headmaster of the first DAV High School at Lahore. He served the society in various capacities without accepting a penny as remuneration. He was the flag runner of spreading education particularly educating the women who has been relegated to the background in the past.
